Victory Media announced that it has appointed Suzie Schwartz, wife of recently retired Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz, as its vice president of military spouse programs. The announcement comes just days before Victory Media unveils its Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year® during a VIP-laden event in Washington, DC.(http://msoy.militaryspouse.com).

In her new role, Mrs. Schwartz will provide high-level strategic guidance for Victory Media’s Military Spouse brand, which consists of Military Spouse magazine,http://militaryspouse.com and the burgeoning Military Spouse of the Year® program. She will manage high level relationships, write and will also serve as one of the company’s national spokespeople.
“I wish the Military Spouse brand was around when I was a more junior military wife! What a tremendous resource for our military spouses and families,” said Schwartz. “The military services do a great job in providing services for our families, but the spouse network is where the most essential information is shared. This magazine provides a forum to make sure very current and relevant information gets to the people who need it, and importantly, it gives all military spouses a powerful voice.”
Mrs. Schwartz has a lifelong history of humanitarian assistance to military families. As a former special education teacher, she helped bring awareness of military child mobility issues to the Air Force through the Military Child Education Coalition which resulted in policy change. She currently sits on the Board of Fisher House Foundation and formerly served on the Board of Air Force Aid Society and the Air Force Charity Ball Committee.
